Mobile medical unit conducts health check-up camp in tribal village Khani of Bharmour , 76 residents benefited

In observance of the Fifth Tribal Pride Day, the AYUSH Department Chamba organised a one-day health camp in village Khani, Gram Panchayat Khani, Tehsil Bharmaur, under the guidance of the Additional District Magistrate. The camp was conducted by the Mobile Medical Unit team on November 13, 2025, with the aim of providing accessible healthcare services to residents of the tribal region.

Under the supervision of District AYUSH Officer Dr. Sharad Trivedi, the camp facilitated health check-ups for 76 individuals. Among them, 31 underwent sugar tests, 16 had hemoglobin tests, and several others received blood pressure screenings.

Doctors distributed medicines based on diagnoses and offered lifestyle guidance, emphasizing the importance of incorporating yoga into daily routines. Participants also engaged in yoga sessions and received informative IEC materials related to Ayurveda.

Dr. Trivedi noted that prior awareness about the camp was spread by Sub-Divisional AYUSH Medical Officer Dr. Anuradha, which led to a strong turnout from the local community.

The camp was supported by a dedicated team including Dr. Rajendra Singh Thakur, Dr. Seema Kumari, Ayurvedic Pharmacy Officer Dalip Jaryal, Rakesh Kumar, Subhash Kumar (Class IV), Yoga Guide Manisha, and Daulat. Dr. Anuradha played a key role in coordinating and ensuring the camp’s success.
