A heartfelt tree plantation event titled “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” (A Tree in Mother’s Name) was organized today, July 25, at Government Senior Secondary School, Garola in collaboration with the Forest Department. Around 70 saplings were planted during the drive.
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from School Principal Mr. Mehr Singh, NSS volunteers, Eco Club members, Scout and Guide teams, as well as officers and staff from the Forest Department.
Principal Mr. Mehr Singh addressed the students, highlighting the vital role of trees in maintaining ecological balance. He encouraged everyone to plant and protect more trees, emphasizing environmental responsibility and personal connection to nature.
