Two-time Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra, hailing from Panipat in Haryana, tied the knot in a secret ceremony at a luxury resort in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh.
Contrary to social media reports suggesting that the wedding took place in Shimla, Neeraj and his bride, tennis player Himani Mor, exchanged vows at the Surya Vilas Luxury Resort on the Kumarhatti-Nahan road near Gandhigram, located about 65 km from Shimla and 62 km from Chandigarh.
The wedding, which took place between January 15 and 17, was kept under tight wraps. According to sources, as soon as guests arrived at the resort, their mobile phones were collected and they were only returned after the completion of the wedding rituals.

To further ensure privacy, all CCTV cameras at the resort were covered with tape to prevent any recordings. The hotel staff was also instructed to maintain strict confidentiality and refrain from sharing any details with the media.
Despite tight security, news of the wedding remained a secret until Neeraj Chopra himself revealed it on social media, taking fans by surprise. Even now, when approached for comments, hotel staff members are unwilling to disclose any details about the event.
Guests and staff members spent three days without their phones, contributing to the secrecy of the grand yet intimate affair.
The Surya Vilas Luxury Resort, surrounded by dense pine forests, was chosen for its secluded location, ensuring that the event remained private and away from public attention. The picturesque venue provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s intimate celebrations.
