MANDI: The Indian Institute of Technology-Mandi is set to host its flagship annual cultural festival “Exodia” from April 18 to 20, 2025, amidst the breathtaking landscapes of its campus in Himachal Pradesh.
Known for its vibrant atmosphere and student-led energy, Exodia’25 promises an immersive and enriching experience for thousands of students arriving from premier institutions across the country.
This year’s edition will feature a wide array of captivating competitions and events across various domains — drama, music, dance, art, digital creativity, literature, photography, quizzing and more.
The Drama Club will present street plays, stage performances, comedy and stand-up acts, testing participants’ theatrical skills.
The Music Club will hold signature contests such as ‘Battle of Bands’ and solo singing. Meanwhile, the Dance Club will showcase talent through various dance forms in competitive and exhibition formats.
Other clubs under the Cultural and Literary Councils, including Artgeeks (Art Club), Designauts (Digital Art Club), PMC (Photography and Cinematography), UhlLekh (Writing Club), and Qurosity (Quizzing Club) — will each contribute with dynamic and engaging events.

The festival will also feature three major highlights: Cosé (a cosplay event where participants portray their favourite fictional characters), MUN Debate (Model United Nations), and the prestigious Mr. and Ms. Exodia competition.
Adding to the flavour, grand evenings like the Musical Night, Kaali (a theatrical celebration) and Kavi Sammelan (poetry session) will offer colourful and soul-stirring performances.
True to its spirit, Exodia’25 aims to provide an experience that goes beyond ordinary festivals, a unique journey of discovery, creativity and cultural exchange.
Legacy rooted in innovation and expression
Since its inception in 2012, Exodia has grown into one of the most celebrated cultural fests in the Indian Himalayan region.
Conceived and executed entirely by students, the fest represents IIT-Mandi’s commitment to holistic education, nurturing not only technical and academic excellence but also creativity, leadership and collaboration.
Over the years, Exodia has hosted a wide range of technical and cultural events, including iconic contests like Junkyard Wars, RoboWars, Exodia Idol and Groove Fanatics.
The fest has welcomed thousands of participants annually, offering them an inspiring platform to showcase their talents and forge lasting memories.
The festival has also played host to distinguished personalities, including pioneers in technology, journalism and academia—further enriching the experience for students and visitors alike.
Moreover, Exodia has consistently engaged with local traditions and community upliftment initiatives such as women empowerment projects and sustainability campaigns, making it not only a student celebration but also a vehicle for positive change.
Exodia’25 stands as a proud continuation of this decade-long legacy—evolving, expanding, and inspiring. It is not just a festival; it is an experience that bridges the minds and hearts of future leaders, thinkers, and artists from across the nation.
