A successful Job Fair was organised at the OBC Bhawan, Nagrota, with the aim of providing employment opportunities to local youth. The event was held under the guidance of Shri R.S. Bali, Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Board and Cabinet-rank Minister.
During the fair, HMCE Ludhiana (Hero Cycles) selected ITI and diploma holders from various trades. A total of 41 youth were recruited, with an initial salary package ranging between ₹18,000 and ₹22,000 per month.
A key highlight of the selection process was that all chosen candidates will be appointed directly on the company’s official rolls, ensuring permanent employment and better career prospects with Hero Cycles.
The responsibility of organizing the fair was entrusted to District Employment Officer Shri Akshay Kumar by Shri R.S. Bali. The program was successfully coordinated by Employment Committee Coordinator Shri Amit Sood, under the Minister’s guidance.
This initiative has proved to be a significant step in creating better employment opportunities for the youth, generating enthusiasm and hope across the region.
