As a responsible digital news platform, we voluntarily adhere to the Digital News Publishers Association (DNPA) Code of Ethics, which reflects our dedication to ethical journalism and protection of constitutionally guaranteed freedoms under Article 19(1)(a) of the Constitution of India.
This Code of Ethics serves to maintain professional standards, protect the independence of journalists and publishers, and ensure that our editorial content remains credible, fair, and law-abiding.
1. Compliance with the Law
- We strictly follow the laws of India, including the Constitution of India, Information Technology Act, 2000, and other relevant media laws.
- Our editorial teams adhere to the highest professional standards, including those set out in the Press Council of India’s Norms of Journalistic Conduct.
2. Accuracy, Transparency, and Fairness
- We are committed to publishing accurate, verified, and fair news content.
- Pre-publication fact-checking is mandatory.
- We avoid publication of baseless, defamatory, or distorted information.
- When reporting on allegations or controversies, we strive to include the version or response of the person or party concerned.
- In case of updates or developments, we revise news content accordingly, with clear mention of the update date.
3. Right of Reply
- We respect the right of individuals or organizations to respond to allegations made against them in our news content.
- If a response is received after publication, it will be added appropriately.
4. Take Down, Edit, or Delete
- If any published content is found to be false, inaccurate, or misleading, we will promptly edit or delete the content upon receiving verifiable information from the affected party.
- Complete removal of an article will be done if the entire content is found to be incorrect or defamatory.
5. Respect for Intellectual Property Rights
- We respect copyright laws and intellectual property rights. Text, images, videos, graphics, or any other content used without proper authorization will be removed or corrected upon notice.
- We ensure that any use of third-party trademarks, copyrighted materials, or intellectual property is done with permission or falls under fair use.
6. Responsible Reporting
We take special care while reporting on sensitive issues, including:
- Crime, sensational cases, and ongoing investigations—preserving the presumption of innocence.
- Sexual harassment, child abuse, rape, domestic violence, matrimonial disputes—avoiding the identification of victims or minors.
- Communal or religious matters—ensuring factual accuracy, neutrality, and social harmony.
- Court and judicial proceedings—ensuring accuracy, balance, and respect for legal privileges.
We also strictly adhere to Sections 67, 67A, and 67B of the Information Technology Act, 2000, which prohibit the publication or transmission of obscene or sexually explicit material.
7. Grievance Redressal Mechanism
As an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000, we follow the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2011. We have appointed a Grievance Officer whose contact details are displayed on our website.
- Complaints will be acknowledged within 36 hours.
- Complaints will be resolved within one month.

8. Training and Awareness
We conduct periodic training for our editorial teams to ensure compliance with:
- The Constitution of India and media-related laws such as:
- The Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act
- Copyright Act
- Right to Information Act
- IPC, CrPC, Defamation Laws, Juvenile Justice Act, POCSO, and others.
- Best practices in reporting on gender issues, caste or communal tensions, child rights, and judicial matters.
We avoid disclosing identities, photographs, or personal details of victims, minors, or individuals involved in sensitive legal cases.
9. Respect for Privacy
We respect the privacy of all individuals, particularly those not in public life. We refrain from publishing unnecessary or intrusive personal information without consent.
