Actor Piyush Mishra Joins Final Round of Swara Art

Actor Piyush Mishra is currently in Dharamshala to participate in the final round of the Swara Art Festival organized by the Jagori Foundation. The festival’s third edition’s finale will be held in TIPA, McLeodganj, this Saturday.

Speaking to reporters at the Jagori Foundation office in Rakkar, Mishra expressed his appreciation for Dharamshala and its vibrant community. He emphasized his desire to focus solely on his work, having grown weary of political commentary.

 

Mishra noted the beauty of Dharamshala and its enthusiastic residents, mentioning his ongoing projects in both films and web series.

Regarding the film industry in Himachal, Mishra remarked that Mumbai remains the central hub of the industry, operating efficiently there. Despite not being a professional singer, he mentioned his involvement in creating impactful songs, citing his experiences with hit songs and memorable characters, notably in “Gangs of Wasseypur.”

Another participant, actor Raj Zutshi , highlighted the nuanced nature of acting, noting the openness of villainous roles compared to heroic ones. Having worked in nearly 138 films, Joshi emphasized the enjoyment he derives from acting and expressed his views on the challenges faced in Bollywood, acknowledging the industry’s strengths and areas needing improvement.
