Their grievances included inadequate water supply, streetlights, sewerage, playgrounds, and poor road conditions. However, the absence of the Commissioner and Joint Commissioner fueled their frustration.

The demonstrators expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of official response to their concerns despite waiting for over an hour at the Municipal Corporation office.

They resorted to chanting slogans against the municipal administration and the Mayor. Eventually, Mayor Neenu Sharma was contacted, and she assured the protesters of addressing their issues promptly.

Mayor Sharma acknowledged the challenges raised by the residents, promising to personally inspect Ward 9 and initiate necessary actions. She emphasized the importance of tender processes for addressing infrastructure issues and pledged to expedite the resolution before the upcoming elections. Additionally, she noted the waste management problem highlighted by the demonstrators and committed to finding a sustainable solution.
