Dharamshala: Ahead of the final Test match between India and England at the Dharamshala stadium starting on March 7, England captain Ben Stokes expressed confidence in his team’s readiness.
Stokes stated in a press conference that although England is trailing by three matches, the series result hasn’t been favorable, they remain fully prepared for the upcoming match. He emphasized the team’s desire to play the kind of cricket they had envisioned but acknowledged falling short in executing their plans.
Stokes expressed satisfaction with the performance of each player in the team, mentioning their consistent efforts to play better cricket. Despite losing matches in the series, he highlighted the team’s resilience and commitment to improve continuously.
Regarding seasoned bowler James Anderson, Stokes praised his remarkable career and fitness, noting that even at this stage of his career, Anderson remains in excellent form. He also commended Anderson’s performance and fitness throughout the series.
