Shimla: Central government has allocated Rs. 100 crore to support the development of study programs and enhance basic infrastructure at Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.

Sardar Patel University, Mandi, Receives State and Central Grants
Sardar Patel University, Mandi, has also witnessed positive financial support, with the state government allocating a budget of Rs. 10 crore and an additional grant of Rs. 20 crore from the Central government. This allocation comes under the Prime Minister’s Higher Education Campaign, focusing on strengthening higher education institutions across the nation.
Focus on Facilities Enhancement Across Universities
The substantial grants provided to these universities are expected to be utilized for the development of essential amenities, including the establishment of smart classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and other key facilities. Professor Anupama Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Sardar Patel University, Mandi, will represent the university in this significant dialogue.
