The much-awaited devotional song ‘Ek Radha Ek Meera’, featuring the soulful voice of celebrated singer Sonu Nigam, was released on Wednesday, bringing into the national entertainment spotlight actor and dancer Kushal Chandra Chauhan, who hails from Kamand Chowki in Sundernagar, Himachal Pradesh.
Blending devotion, love and surrender, the song features Chauhan in a prominent role alongside Simran and Shweta Chauhan. The song has been directed by Chand, while Naresh and Sushil Pandey are the producers.
For Chauhan, the release marks another significant milestone in a journey that has taken him from the hills of Himachal Pradesh to the Mumbai entertainment industry. A trained actor and dancer, he has been active across theatre, dance and screen performances and has gradually carved a space for himself through sustained work and training.
Chauhan received his initial training in dance and performance at Feet of Fire Dance Academy in Sundernagar, an experience he considers an important foundation of his artistic journey. He has expressed special gratitude to his mentor Amit Bhatia for his guidance and support during his formative years.
He later underwent formal acting training at the National School of Drama (NSD), adding professional theatre training to his experience as a performer. His journey reflects a combination of stage experience, dance training and screen work as he continues to explore opportunities in the Hindi entertainment industry.
Chauhan has previously appeared in songs featuring popular devotional singer Hansraj Raghuwanshi, where his performances attracted audience attention. He is also set to feature in upcoming music projects associated with T-Series, adding to the growing anticipation around his work.
Speaking about the release, Chauhan has credited his parents and teachers for the progress he has made in his career. He has particularly acknowledged the role of his mentors in helping him develop his craft and remain focused on his artistic journey.
‘Ek Radha Ek Meera’ is now available on the official SA RE GA MA and SA RE GA MA Bhakti channels. With Sonu Nigam’s distinctive voice at its centre and Chauhan bringing his acting and performance skills to the screen, the song marks another important step in the young Himachali artist’s journey from Sundernagar to the national entertainment platform.
For Chauhan, the project represents more than another music release—it is a significant new chapter in a career shaped by dance, theatre, formal acting training and an ambition to establish himself on a larger national stage.
