In a commendable gesture of social responsibility, Guru Nanak Public School, Dalhousie presented a cheque of ₹2.50 lakh to the District Red Cross Society, Chamba.
The cheque was formally handed over to Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal, who also serves as the President of the District Red Cross Society, by the school’s Principal Navdeep Bhandari.
Deputy Commissioner Repswal lauded the initiative, describing it as an excellent example of humanitarian service and social commitment. “This contribution will go a long way in supporting the needy and reflects the noble spirit of service and responsibility,” he remarked.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner honored Principal Navdeep Bhandari with a shawl, cap, and the traditional Chamba Thaal as a token of appreciation.
The event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Amit Mehra, Assistant Commissioner Manmohan Singh, Deputy Director of Higher Education Vikas Mahajan, and Vice Principal of Guru Nanak Public School, Sandeep Rana.
