Under the ongoing Aapka Sevak Aapke Dwar initiative, residents of the Kangra Assembly constituency are being provided a platform to raise their issues and seek solutions directly.

Speaking at Bhanguar village after inaugurating various development works, Chaudhary Narendra Nishu Mongra, District and State Congress OBC Department President (APMC), emphasized that reaching the last person in line with government schemes is the priority. He assured that providing basic facilities to the Changar region is the government’s responsibility.

During the program, local problems were addressed on the spot, while some matters were directed to officials for early resolution. Officers from multiple departments, including the Agriculture Department, were present and shared information about welfare schemes.

Nishu Mongra stated that Kangra Assembly constituency has lagged behind by 25 years, but under Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s leadership, infrastructure in roads, bridges, drinking water, and healthcare is being strengthened rapidly. He highlighted the government’s push for natural farming, which is helping farmers secure fair prices for crops like turmeric, wheat, and maize.

Encouraging women’s groups, he noted that active Mahila Mandals engaged in social work are eligible for government grants ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹3 lakh. He urged them to maintain dignity and not be swayed by misleading influences.

He criticized derogatory remarks made against the Chief Minister on social media, calling them inappropriate and damaging to the image of Dev Bhoomi.

The program, which has become a popular choice among villagers over the past year, continues to provide a platform for people to present their grievances and receive solutions at their doorstep. The event concluded with the distribution of saplings among attendees.
