Demonstrating prompt action and compassion, the Indora Police Station under Police District Nurpur successfully reunited a 16‑year‑old missing boy from Bihar with his family.
According to reports, a local woman found the boy crying near the Indora Bus Stand on Sunday. She informed the police the next day, upon which the police team immediately gathered preliminary details. It was learned that the boy, a resident of Bihar, had mistakenly boarded a train and later reached Indora by bus.
The Indora Police promptly contacted the Behra Police Station in District Darbhanga, Bihar, and informed the boy’s family. On Tuesday, his relatives arrived at Indora Police Station, where—after completing all formalities and verification—the boy was safely handed over to them.
The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Himachal Pradesh Police for their swift assistance and sensitive handling of the matter.
