In a landmark step towards providing dignity and stability to hardworking families, Tourism Corporation Chairman and Nagrota Bagwan MLA R.S. Bali inaugurated 26 newly constructed permanent shops at Tehsil Chowk, Kangra. Bali announced that all remaining eligible vendor families in Kangra will also be provided permanent shops in a phased manner. He further declared ₹50 lakh for Kangra Municipal Council to strengthen basic infrastructure and directed officials to prepare a detailed plan for a multipurpose complex at Tehsil Chowk.
