Dharamshala
A free health check-up camp was successfully organised in Dharamshala with the joint efforts of the local Health Department and Rotary Club. The camp offered free facilities for blood pressure (BP), blood sugar, and chest X-ray examinations. A total of 100 people underwent health screening during the program.
The medical team, comprising MO Dr. Ritika Arora, FHW Suman Bala, CHO Tamana, Pushplata, and ASHA workers Sakina, Deepika, Bobby, and Ranjana, not only conducted health tests but also spread awareness about disease prevention and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle.
The initiative received special guidance and support from CMO Dr. Vivek Karol, MOH Dr. R.K. Sood, and BMO Dr. Kavita Thakur, whose contribution was widely appreciated. Lunch arrangements for the health staff were sponsored by Rotarian K.G. Sood, for which the organizing committee expressed gratitude.
From the Rotary Club, Rotarian Dr. Vijay Sharma, Rotarian Varinder Parmar, Club Secretary Rotarian Ajay Sharma, and Rotarian Dr. Satish Sood were present. They emphasized the need to organize such camps regularly to ensure healthcare services reach the wider community.
The camp concluded with thanks extended to the Health Department, Rotary Club members, and all collaborators for their collective efforts in making the event a success.
