Paras Public School, Bhawarna marked World Environment Day with a series of awareness and creative activities aimed at instilling responsibility towards nature among students. The program was graced by the presence of School Director Shri Mahesh Chandra Katoch, Principal Mrs. Neelam Rana, and Shri Dishant Katoch.
Under the campaign “One Student – One Plant”, students pledged to plant saplings and ensure their care. Teacher Meena delivered a speech highlighting the importance of a clean and green environment and urged everyone to protect nature.
Students from Nursery to Class III presented short plays and dances adorned with tree-shaped models, spreading the message “Save Nature: Save Life” and “Save Trees: Save Environment.” Meanwhile, Classes IV to VIII engaged in chart-making, poster creation, and slogan writing to inspire environmental protection.
For senior students (Classes IX to XII), a speech competition on “Nature Conservation” was organized, with participants addressing topics such as water conservation, a plastic-free India, and afforestation. Atharvaveda House secured first place, followed by Samaveda, Rigveda, and Yajurveda Houses.
Additionally, a cleanliness drive was conducted in the school premises, reinforcing the importance of a healthy environment. In her concluding address, Principal Mrs. Neelam Rana emphasized that environmental conservation is the greatest need of the hour. She urged every citizen to contribute by saving water, planting more trees, and protecting nature for future generations.
