Renowned motivational speaker and Rajyoga meditation trainer BK Sister Shivani will address a special public awareness programme at Paddal Ground in Mandi on June 3, with organizers expecting a large turnout from across the region. The details of the event were shared during a press conference held at the Sadbhavana Bhawan of the Brahma Kumaris in Mandi on Sunday.

Speaking to mediapersons, Mandi Circle Head BK Sushila Didi said Sister Shivani is internationally known for her inspiring talks on positive thinking, emotional well-being, spiritual empowerment and value-based living. She noted that Sister Shivani has influenced millions of people worldwide through her motivational teachings and has been honoured with the Nari Shakti Puraskar for her contribution towards women’s empowerment and social transformation.

The programme, which is open to the public, will focus on strengthening family and social relationships, stress management, emotional resilience and practical solutions to everyday life challenges. Organizers said the event aims to promote positivity, harmony and inner well-being among participants.

The main programme will commence at 5:30 pm, while cultural performances will begin at 5:00 pm. Participants have been advised to take their seats before 5:15 pm to ensure smooth conduct of the event.

According to the organizers, more than 5,000 registrations have already been received. Registration has been made mandatory for entry, although two help desks will be established at Paddal Ground to facilitate on-the-spot registration and issuance of free entry passes for those who have not yet registered.

Organizers further informed that only individuals aged 12 years and above will be allowed entry to the venue. In an effort to promote environmental responsibility, plastic water bottles will not be provided, and attendees have been requested to carry their own reusable water bottles.

Meanwhile, the Brahma Kumaris will also organize a three-day Rajyoga Meditation Camp from June 5 to June 7 at all its service centres. The camp will be conducted in two daily sessions—from 6:30 am to 7:30 am and from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Participants will receive training and practical guidance in Rajyoga meditation aimed at enhancing mental peace, inner strength and positive thinking.

Inviting people from Mandi and surrounding areas to participate in large numbers, BK Sushila Didi said the programme would provide a valuable opportunity for self-transformation, spiritual growth and the experience of lasting peace and happiness.
