Nurpur joined the rest of Himachal Pradesh in celebrating Parshuram Jayanti on Sunday, April 19, 2026, coinciding with Akshaya Tritiya, one of the most auspicious days in the Hindu calendar. The highlight of the local observances was grand Shobha Yatra, bringing together devotees, community leaders, and cultural groups in a vibrant procession through the town.
