A tragic incident occurred in the tribal region of Bharmour subdivision when Madan Lal, son of Jeezha Ram, resident of Nichli Badi village, aged 57, suddenly fell unconscious while traveling on a Himachal Road Transport Corporation bus from Pathankot depot on National Highway 154A towards Bharmour on Monday evening.
According to Bharmour Police Station, the incident took place near Khadamukh around 5 p.m. when Madan Lal’s health deteriorated abruptly inside the bus. The driver and conductor acted promptly, rushing him to Bharmour Civil Hospital in an ambulance. However, doctors declared him d*ead upon arrival.
On Tuesday, his body was sent to Chamba Medical College for post-mortem, after which it will be handed over to his family.
Madan Lal was known locally for repairing stoves and gas cookers, often visiting villages to provide his services. His sudden demise has cast a wave of grief across the region, where he was well recognized and respected.
