A moment of pride for Jawali as Dr. Rajiv Singh Niryala, Principal of Spring Dale Convent Senior Secondary School, Jawali, has been honoured with a Leadership Award by the University of Melbourne, Australia, in recognition of his outstanding leadership, administration, and visionary guidance in the field of education.
Dr. Rajiv Singh Niryala was presented a Letter of Appreciation jointly by Dr. Donnie, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Education, University of Melbourne (Australia), and Dr. Aditya Saxena, Dean, School of Arts and Design, Woxsen University, India. The appreciation was awarded after an in-depth evaluation of his leadership qualities, administrative efficiency, and commitment to educational excellence.
The honour recognizes his significant contributions towards improving teacher quality, effective curriculum implementation, enhancement of academic results, smooth management of daily school operations, staff recruitment, work allocation, and maintaining discipline. Special emphasis was laid on his efforts to ensure a safe and supportive environment for students, promote holistic development through sports, and maintain a clean, positive, and motivating teaching atmosphere.
The appreciation also highlights Dr. Niryala’s strong capabilities in financial management, optimal utilization of school resources, careful budget planning, and transparent administration. His role in strengthening communication and coordination among teachers, parents, and the community, along with effective problem-solving, was highly appreciated.
Notably, the award was also conferred in recognition of his work on a research study titled “AI Technology, Self-Efficacy and Well-being”, which focuses on using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in schools to guide institutions towards progressive and future-ready education.
On this occasion, School Chairman Dr. Rajendra (MD), Shri Pawan Chaudhary, and other committee members congratulated Dr. Rajiv Singh Niryala and described this achievement as a major milestone for Jawali city. They stated that recognition by an international institution like the University of Melbourne for the use of AI technology in school education is a matter of great pride for the entire region.
This honour not only brings recognition to Spring Dale Convent School but also places Jawali on the global educational map as a center embracing innovation, leadership, and modern teaching practices.
