Addressing the media, Vishwachakshu said the scheme embodies employment, dignity and development, yet Congress is targeting it for purely political reasons. He emphasized that “Ram” is a symbol of India’s cultural and moral consciousness, recalling that Mahatma Gandhi’s last words were “Hey Ram.” He questioned why Congress feels uneasy whenever the name of Ram is associated with a national initiative.
Vishwachakshu urged Congress to move beyond emotional rhetoric and present concrete arguments if it sees flaws in the scheme, which is being introduced as an alternative to MGNREGA. “Opposing for the sake of opposition is not in the public interest,” he remarked.
He further stated that the ‘G Ram G’ scheme aims to advance employment, development, and social empowerment in a new form. According to him, India’s vision of becoming a developed nation can only be realized through constructive evaluation of policies, not through political bias.
Concluding his statement, Vishwachakshu asserted that the BJP believes in the politics of development, and the people now understand that solutions, not obstruction, will take the country forward.
