Sakoh
The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was organised at Government Senior Secondary School, Sakoh, under the chairmanship of Principal Roma Soyal.
Former Mayor of Dharamshala Municipal Corporation, Devendra Singh Jaggi, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The event featured a vibrant cultural program presented by the students. The Principal shared the Annual School Report, highlighting the institution’s achievements throughout the year.
The Chief Guest honored meritorious students excelling in both academic and co-curricular activities with awards. He also announced:
- ₹2 lakh for the construction of a school stage
- ₹2 lakh for building new toilets
- ₹21,000 for students participating in the cultural program
In his address, Jaggi urged parents to encourage their children to actively participate in school activities alongside academics and advised them to keep youngsters away from social evils such as substance abuse.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Anupam Andotra (Senior Lecturer), who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, Mayor Mrs. Neenu Sharma, Harbhajan Singh Bhajji, and other dignitaries for their presence.
