Rampur — Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of development projects totaling ₹53.96 crore in Rampur Bushehar, district Shimla, aimed at strengthening health, infrastructure, water supply, and civic amenities in the region.
✅ Inaugurated Projects
- Community Health Centre at Dhar Gaura: Built at a cost of ₹3.27 crore to enhance rural healthcare access.
- Drinking Water Supply Schemes: Strengthening works under Jal Shakti Sub-Division Rampur completed with an outlay of ₹1.78 crore.
- Flow Irrigation Scheme (FIS) at Foula Ladhidhar, Nankhari: Improved at a cost of ₹74.38 lakh.
- PWD Sarahan Office Complex: A new ₹89 lakh residence-cum-office facility for the Assistant Engineer inaugurated.
🏗️ Foundation Stones Laid
- Jeori–Sarahan Road Upgradation: A ₹25.76 crore project under NABARD to improve regional connectivity.
- Lift Drinking Water Supply Scheme for ITBP Colony, Nogli: Estimated cost ₹2.77 crore.
- Water Supply Strengthening for Munish-Bhali and Darkali Panchayats: ₹4.57 crore allocated.
- FIS from Belupul to Majheoti, Nankhari: To be developed at a cost of ₹1.19 crore.
- Sewerage System for Nagar Parishad Rampur: ₹3 crore project to improve sanitation infrastructure.
- Multi-storey Shopping Complex and Bus Stand at Nankhari: ₹9.96 crore earmarked for this civic infrastructure upgrade.
These initiatives reflect the state government’s commitment to holistic development in rural and semi-urban areas, with a focus on health, water security, road connectivity, and urban infrastructure.
