Royal scion shares video of decorated Shimla house on social media account

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department (PWD) and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh is set to tie the knot for second time on September 22.
Preparations for the wedding are underway and his residence, Holly Lodge in Shimla, has been decorated with colourful lights. Singh also shared a video of the illuminated house on his social media account.
According to family sources, Vikramaditya will leave for Chandigarh on Sunday (September 21, 2025) along with his mother Pratibha Singh, his maternal relatives, sister and brother-in-law and close friends.
Wedding in Chandigarh’s Sector 2
The wedding will take place at 10 am on September 22 at the residence of the bride, Dr. Amreen Kaur, in Sector 2, Chandigarh. The ceremony will be conducted as per Sikh traditions (Anand Karaj). Lunch has been scheduled for 1 pm the same day.
Later in the evening, the minister will return to Shimla with the bride, where a traditional welcome ceremony will be held at Holly Lodge.
Bride is university professor
Dr. Amreen Kaur is the daughter of Jotindra Singh Sekhon and Opindra Kaur, residents of Chandigarh’s Sector 2. She is an assistant professor of psychology at Panjab University, Chandigarh.
This will be the second marriage of Vikramaditya Singh. He was earlier married to Sudarshana Chundawat of Amet royal family in Rajasthan’s Rajsamand district in March 2019. The couple was granted divorce recently.
Son of six-time Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Vikramaditya represents Shimla (Rural) constituency for the second time and currently serves as a minister in the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress government.
