Palampur : The Palampur Municipal Corporation has announced a fresh survey of street vendors, including pushcart (rehdi-fhadi) sellers, following a meeting of the Town Vending Committee chaired by Mayor Gopal Chand Nag. Municipal Commissioner Dr. Ashish Sharma stated that the survey, mandated every five years under the Himachal Pradesh Street Vending Scheme 2016, will be conducted from July 1 to July 5, 2025, across all 15 wards of Palampur.
Survey Details and Follow-Up
Self-help groups have been assigned to carry out the survey between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. Vendors who miss submitting their documents during this period can do so at the Municipal Corporation office from July 1 to July 5, 2025. A follow-up survey for those who missed the initial survey will be held on July 6, 2025, after which no applications will be accepted.
Required Documents for Vendors
Vendors must carry the following documents:
- Aadhaar card
- Old street vending ID card or other proof
- Income source report from local patwari/tehsildar
- Ration card and family list certified by ward councilor/municipal corporation

Issuance of Identity Cards
After the survey, the Town Vending Committee and Palampur Municipal Corporation will issue allocation letters and identity cards to eligible vendors, ensuring proper regulation and support for street vending activities in the city.
