, is set to launch an extensive Business Empowerment Drive aimed at strengthening and empowering the state’s business community. This initiative is designed not only to raise awareness but also to offer legal and practical support to address the various challenges faced by entrepreneurs in the region.
Himachal Pradesh is currently grappling with a severe debt burden, exceeding ₹1 lakh crore, putting immense pressure on the state’s economic growth. In light of this, TNR’s drive aims to foster an environment where businesses can flourish without fear, enabling them to play an active role in the economic upliftment of the state and the nation at large.
The first event under the campaign was held at Tandon Club, Kangra, and saw the participation of local business leaders, tax experts, and prominent members from the Yogiraj Tax Association.
Speaking at the event, Pt. Ved Prakash Sharma, president of Kangra Vyopar Mandal, emphasized the crucial role of businesses in the economic landscape. “The business community is the backbone of our state’s economy. They create jobs, drive economic growth, and take significant risks to keep the wheels of progress moving. Supporting businesses is not just a matter of individual success; it’s a matter of state and national prosperity,” he said.
Another local leader, Anil Sharma, a prominent businessman, stated, “Business owners are not just employers; they are creators of economic value. By providing them with the right support, we can unlock an immense potential that will lead to sustainable growth for the state. Our businesses face many challenges, especially with the current economic pressures, and this initiative is a much-needed step in the right direction.”
TNR’s Business Empowerment Drive is designed to tackle several challenges that entrepreneurs in Himachal Pradesh face, including access to legal advice, financial guidance, and addressing bureaucratic hurdles. The initiative is also set to provide a platform for businesses to engage directly with policymakers and government officials.
“Without the right support, businesses can often find themselves bogged down with legal and financial complexities. This drive will help local entrepreneurs understand their rights and the tools available to them to grow their businesses while contributing to the economy,” said Ankush Verma, a member of the Yogiraj Tax Association.
The event also highlighted the need for improved access to information, with local business owners calling for more such initiatives in rural areas. “Awareness is key to empowering our business community. We need these kinds of interactions to help clear the misconceptions surrounding taxes and regulations,” said Yogesh Puri, a Taxation expert.
TNR’s Business Empowerment Drive seeks to create a vibrant business ecosystem in Himachal Pradesh by bridging the gap between local businesses and policymakers, and by equipping entrepreneurs with the knowledge and resources needed for success.
With this initiative, TNR is not only aiming to empower businesses in Himachal but also positioning them as key drivers of economic change. By focusing on both the economic and legal aspects of entrepreneurship, the drive is set to have a long-lasting impact on the state’s growth, self-reliance, and overall economic development.
