Zonal Hospital Dharamshala to get C ARM machine for orthopedic surgeries, A Scan machine for eye department

Dharamshala: Zonal Hospital Dharamshala shall aoon have a modernized state of arm C ARM machine at a tentative cost of about Rs 15 lakh.
With the installation of this machine service for surgeries in orthopedic department shall improve significantly.
The hospital has two ortho surgeons posted and there was a demand for modernized C ARM in larger public interest.
Also a new A Scan machine shall be procured at a tentative cost of about Rs 5 lakh. This machine is used to calculate the required lens power for cataract surgeries.
The installation of above two machines shall improve the facilities further at ZH.
The process for procurement of above machines has been initiated on GeM portal of government of India.
Budget of Rs 20 lakh has been approved for above through Rogi Kalyan samiti ZH Dharamshala.
