In a bid to harness the vibrant energy of youth towards the promotion of Himachal Pradesh’s rich natural and cultural heritage, plans are underway to establish youth tourism clubs in schools and colleges across the state.
The Directorate of Higher Education has issued directives to district deputy directors and college principals to expedite the formation of these clubs. This initiative aims to engage students from class VI through college, leveraging their enthusiasm and passion to propel tourism in the region.
An action taken report is expected to be submitted to the directorate, marking a promising step towards the revitalization of Himachal’s tourism sector through the vigor of its youth.
