Youth Congress workers protested outside the IGMC hospital gate here over stopping of ‘langar’ services run by a private organisation, Almighty.
Accusing the Jairam government mixing humanitarian services with politics, they raised slogans against the government and the IGMC management, warning of a violent agitation if the decision was not repealed.
IGMC accuses Almighty organisation
Earlier,IGMC MS Dr Janak Raj accused Almighty of stealing electricity and water for six years and taking possession of the hospital property.
He also demanded an enquiry into the donations made by people to the organisation. The government and the hospital administration have also come under a lot of criticism on social media.
The Congress and the Gurdwara management would be holding a press conference on the issue.
