Dharamshala: The Dharamshala Spring Carnival, organized in collaboration with the Himachal Pradesh government’s tourism department, featured a singing contest where 9-year-old Krishav emerged as one of the top three contestants.
Hailing from Kangra town and the son of the renowned regional singer ‘Sunil Sufi,’ Krishav showcased his talent during the auditions with the rendition of “Ram Ayenge,” a song associated with Lord Ram that gained popularity during the recent Ram Mandir inauguration. In the final round, he presented “Thandi Thandi Hawa Je Chuldi,” a song capturing the beauty of the Kangra region.
Krishav received accolades during the event’s cultural night, with Deputy Director of Tourism Vinay Dhiman and other dignitaries presenting him with an award. He is a student of Sacred Heart School and a student 5th class. It was learnt that he was equally good is studies.
