Vikramaditya taunts Kangana Ranaut over Aadhaar statement, says anyone can meet him without I-card
Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh has taken a swipe at newly elected MP Kangana Ranaut over her statement at the opening of ‘Saansad Samvad Kendra’ in Mandi in which she asked people to get their Aadhaar cards along when they come for redressal of grievances.
Bollywood actress-turned politician Kangana Ranaut, at the launch of the ‘Saansad Samvad Kendra (MP communication centre)’ asked attendees to submit their requests in writing if they wanted assistance and to include a copy of their Aadhaar card.
Without wasting much time, Vikramaditya, who was defeated by Kangana Ranaut in the Lok Sabha election, took to social media to criticise the MP’s remarks, saying no one required an Aadhaar card to meet him. “No one needs an Aadhaar card to meet us.
Anyone from any corner of the state can meet us for their work,” Vikramaditya said in a social media post. The statement was a jibe at Kangana Ranaut’s earlier comment.
The rivalry between Kangana Ranaut and Vikramaditya Singh has been well-documented. The two faced off in the Mandi Lok Sabha elections, where BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut emerged victorious, defeating Vikramaditya by nearly 80,000 votes.
The election period was marked by a series of heated exchanges and personal attacks. Kangana notably referred to Vikramaditya as “Chhota Pappu” during her campaign. The Congress, in turn, mounted their own criticisms against Ranaut.
Vikramaditya had targeted Kangana over her old social media comments, including the one in which the actress maintained she had eaten beef out of curiosity.
