SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh PWD and Youth Services and Sports Minister Vikramaditya Singh met Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan in New Delhi on Saturday (September 16, 2023).
Vikramaditya Singh urged the Union Minister for sanctioning a Kendriya Vidyalaya for his constituency and added that there was a huge demand for this in the constituency for providing quality education to the students of middle class families.The Shimla (Rural) MLA apprised the Union Minister that one building of National Skill Training Institute (NSTI) was under construction in Ghanati near Shimla.
He urged for starting new trades for women like draughtsman (civil, fashion design and technology) under Craft Instructor Training Scheme. He said at present training in Desktop Publishing, Stenographer and Secretarial Assistant (English) for female candidates was being imparted under the Craftsmen Training Scheme.
Vikramaditya said that Infrastructure of Food Production/Food Beverage Service is available, but not running. He requested to get the proposal submitted by the authorities examined for improving NSTI project. The Union Minister heard the demands and assured of all possible help.
