Dharamshala: A fancy dress competition was organised with much fanfare and excitement today at Vedanta Public School at Shamnagar in Dharamshala.
The event saw participants from the school showcase their creativity by donning traditional costumes representing various states of India, including Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Goa, Kerala, Kashmir, Maharashtra, Bengal and Tamil Nadu.
The highlight of the event was the younger contestants, who charmed the audience with their colourful outfits and enthusiastic performances. The children’s playful and humorous dance routines brought joy to the attending parents, who were thoroughly entertained throughout the event.
The tiny tots stole the show by dressing up as cartoon characters, delivering a performance that had everyone in laughter. They also showed their remarkable talent by impersonating famous athletes of the country, impressing the audience with their versatility.
At the conclusion of the event, school manager Hanut Singh Jamwal presented prizes to the winners, congratulating all participants for their efforts and encouraging them to continue showcasing their talents in the future.
