Under-20 National Kabaddi Championship: Two youths from Mandi district heading for Hyderabad as part of Himachal kabaddi team

Mandi: Nikhil Thakur from Pandoh and Shagun Nayak from Balh area in Mandi district, have left for Hyderabad to participate in the Under-20 National Kabaddi Championship in the men’s and women’s categories, respectively.
Both players from Mandi are part of the Himachal Pradesh team, aiming to showcase their talent at the national level.
Mandi district Kabaddi Association secretary Netr Singh Thakur congratulated them, highlighting their excellent performance at the state level, which has earned them a spot in the national competition.
The competition is scheduled in from February to February 4.
The entire Pandoh region is thrilled to witness the joyous moment of Thakur’s selection in the nationals .
His father, Deshraj Thakur, expressed happiness and proud that his son was set to showcase his talent at the national level in a sport like kabaddi.
Thakur has had a strong inclination towards sports since childhood, and today, his hard work has brought him to this stage. The family provides all possible support for his advancement in sports.
