Measured 3.6 on Richter scale

An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale hit parts of Chamba and Dharamshala on Thursday evening.
The centre of the earthquake was located at 5 km depth in Chamba district and tremors were felt in neighbouring Dharamshala in Kangra district.
People rushed out from their homes in both places. However, no loss of life or damage to property was reported.
