DHARAMSHALA: The International Cricket Council (ICC), the global governing body of cricket, has finalised the ticket prices for all stands for the India-New Zealand match to be held in Dharamshala on October 22. The cheapest ticket is worth ₹1,500 while the most expensive will cost around ₹30,000.
Nine stands of low-cost tickets of ₹1,500 and ₹2,000 have been reserved for cricket fans coming to watch the World Cup match at the at Dharamshala stadium. Of these, four stands will be for tickets of ₹1,500 and five for ₹2,000.
There are 14 stands in Dharamshala, excluding the corporate box. Their prices are fixed ₹1,500, ₹2,000, ₹3,500, ₹7,500, ₹10,000, ₹15,000 and ₹30,000. The ticket price of Club Lodge Main Pavilion is ₹15,000. The ticket price in Pavilion Terrace will be ₹10,000. The corporate box ticket will cost ₹30,000. Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Secretary Avneesh Parmar confirmed that the prices of tickets for the India-New Zealand match in Dharamshala had been fixed. “Online booking of tickets will start in a day or two. A total of five World Cup matches will be played here,” he said.
BCCI Secretary Jay Shah visited the Dharamshala stadium on Friday and took stock of the ongoing preparations for the ICC ODI Cricket World Cup. During this period, IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal also remained with him. He informed Shah about every stand of the stadium and the facilities provided during the matches. Shah asked HPCA officials to complete all the work soon.
