This Diwali, Himachal govt-owned Milkfed to offer sugar-free sweets

This Diwali, the Himachal Pradesh Milk Federation (Milkfed) is once again set to add sweetness to the festivities with its wide range of sugar-free sweets.

Continuing its tradition, the state-owned federation will offer sweets at 28 stalls across Himachal Pradesh starting from October 26, making it convenient for customers to pick up their favorite treats.

What makes Milkfed’s sweets stand out this year is that all products sold will be sugar-free, ensuring a healthier alternative for those concerned about their sugar intake.

Customers can choose from a variety of sweets in 400-gram and 800-gram packaging, perfectly sized for personal enjoyment or as gifts for loved ones.

For the festive season, special celebration and gift packs have also been prepared.

Variety and prices of Milkfed sweets

Milkfed offers a delectable range of traditional sweets to suit the tastes of all sweet lovers.

The prices have been kept affordable, allowing customers to indulge in guilt-free festive treats. Some of the key offerings include:

Panjiri: Rs 290 for 400 grams and Rs 570 for 800 grams

Pahadi Barfi: Rs 275 for 400 grams
Mah Dal Pinni: Rs 275 for 400 grams and Rs 495 for 800 grams
Motichoor Laddu: Rs 200 for 400 grams and Rs 350 for 800 grams
Sugar-Free Milk Cake, Coconut Barfi and Pahadi Barfi: Rs 370 for 400 grams each
Additionally, other popular sweets like Brown Peda, Son Papdi/Patisa, Milk Cake, Roasted Chana Barfi and Coconut Barfi will be available at the stalls.

Special celebration and gift packs

Understanding the tradition of gifting during Diwali, Milkfed has also prepared exclusive celebration and gift packs.

These festive packs are perfect for sharing sweetness with friends and family. The options include:

800 grams Celebration Pack: Rs 550
Rasgulla and Gulab Jamun (1 kg): Rs 240
Gift Pack Rs 620): Contains Gulab Jamun, Brown Peda and Cookies

Gift Pack Rs 1,000): Includes Gulab Jamun, Roasted Chana Barfi, Kaju Barfi, Dry Fruits and Biscuits
A senior official of the Himachal Pradesh Milk Federation said all these sweets would be available at the designated Milkfed stalls across the state from October 26 onwards.
