Under the SVEEP program, a voter awareness campaign was organized at the Government Senior Secondary School, Tang Narwana.
The event, chaired by local Gram Panchayat head Santosh Kumar and Vice Principal Kusum Dhiman, aimed to raise awareness for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha by-elections.
Special emphasis was placed on increasing voter turnout, with guidance from Assistant Electoral Officer and SDM Dharamshala Sanjeev Kumar Bhot .
Various dignitaries, including Gram Panchayat head Shalini Bhatt, were present, underscoring the importance of democratic participation. Attendees pledged to exercise their voting rights responsibly, ensuring their names were listed in the voter registry through the Voter Helpline app.
They vowed to encourage fellow citizens to participate in the electoral process and organized voter awareness rallies, supported by local leaders and community members.
