Dharamshala, 3rd January 2023 – The Tourism Department of Dharamshala will be organizing the HP Tourism Spring Carnival from 25th to 29th February. The inaugural ceremony will be conducted by Cabinet Minister Raghuvir Singh Bali.
The Spring Carnival is being organized for the first time to promote tourism in Dharamshala and Kangra district. The aim is to boost tourism activities and promote local culture.
Over the course of 5 Star Nights, several famous singers will entertain tourists and local residents. The first Star Night on 25th February will feature renowned singer Kuldeep Sharma who will set the stage on fire. The famous mountain comedian Vishal Sharma will also entertain the audience with his jokes. On the same day, Punjabi singer Yours HR will also entertain the audience. Renowned Kathak dancers will also mesmerize the audience on this day.
On 26th February, mountain singer Sunil Rana, Poonam Bhardwaj, and Mohit Garg will enchant the audience with their voices.
On 27th February, singers Kumar Sahil and Kaku Ram Thakur will rock the stage.
On 28th February, singers Ishant Bhardwaj and Sahil Sargam will entertain the audience.
On 29th February, Himachal’s famous singing team Harmony of the Pines will create a festive atmosphere.
The HP Tourism Spring Carnival will also host the Voice of Dhauladhar competition. Additionally, the Brass Band Contest will be organized for the first time, giving Himachal’s brass band artists a platform to showcase their talent. Various groups of artists will present unique Himachali dance performances during the carnival.
The carnival will also feature a food festival, an exhibition of Himachali art, and a cultural gala. Additionally, a traditional costume fashion show will be organized.
