₹12-lakh fine imposed on RR captain Samson for slow over-rate against PBKS
RR captain Sanju Samson has been penalised after his team maintained a slow over-rate against PBKS. As it was RR’s first offence of IPL 2021, Samson was fined ₹12 lakh. Samson is the fifth captain after CSK’s MS Dhoni, MI’s Rohit Sharma, KKR’s Eoin Morgan and RCB Virat Kohli to be fined for slow over-rate this season.
