Gable Steveson, who won Olympic gold in 125 kg freestyle wrestling, joins WWE

American wrestler Gable Steveson, who won a gold medal in 125 kg freestyle category at the Tokyo Olympics last month, has signed a multi-year deal with WWE. The 21-year-old signed a NIL deal with WWE that will allow him to attend the University of Minnesota for his senior year and defend the Division I national championship at heavyweight.

With fifth England-India Test in Manchester cancelled, IPL franchises are already in touch with charter companies to fly out their players from Manchester to UAE for the second leg of the IPL, beginning September 19. “You need certain approvals and that takes time…you could expect the players to start flying from Saturday evening,” an official from a franchise said.
