SpiceJet sends 80 pilots on leave without pay for 3 months to cut costs

SpiceJet has asked 80 of its pilots to go on a three-month leave without pay as a temporary measure to rationalise costs. The pilots forced to go on leave without pay are from the airline’s Boeing and Bombardier fleets. Meanwhile, a pilot said, “There’s no assurance if those forced to go on leave will even be called back.”
