Scorching Heat Continues in Himachal Pradesh, Yellow Alert Issued for Heatwave

The plains and low-lying areas of Himachal Pradesh are experiencing relentless heat, with temperatures soaring past 40 degrees Celsius in three cities on Saturday. According to the Meteorological Center in Shimla, the weather in the state’s plains and mid-hill regions is expected to remain clear until May 30.
Consequently, temperatures are likely to rise further, with a yellow alert for a heatwave issued from May 26 to 28. Rain is expected in several parts of the state on May 31, while higher altitude areas may experience adverse weather from May 29 to 31. On Saturday, Shimla and other parts of the state enjoyed clear weather.
