Classes 5, 8 students can visit school to clarify doubts if any
Coaching classes, training and tuition centers can reopen from July 26

Teaching at schools for students of classes 10, 11 and 12 would commence from August 2. A decision to this effect was taken at the state Cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.
Education department’s presentation
After viewing the presentation made by the Education department officials, the Cabinet also decided that students of classes 5 and 8 can also go to schools in case they need to clarify any doubts regarding the syllabus or anything relevant. However, there would be no regular classes for students of classes 5 and 8.
The research scholars in universities would be allowed as per the dates to be notified by the universities authorities.
School administration to follow SOP
School administrations have been asked to follow standard operating procedures following the resumption of studies. Hostels for students of classes 10, 11 and 12 would also reopen along with day boarding schools while following SOP.
Coaching classes, tuition centres to reopen from July 26
The Cabinet granted permission for the reopening of coaching classes and training and tuition centers in the state from July 26.
Tourists, residents cautioned
The state government cautioned tourists and residents against the impending third wave of Corona and said everyone should follow Covid rules. Health department made a presentation during the Cabinet meeting on its preparedness to tackle the third wave of Corona. Urban development minister Suresh Bhardwaj informed that Himachal Pradesh is number one in vaccination and least wastage of vaccines.
Cabinet approves SDMs offices
The Cabinet sanctioned the opening of the offices of sub-divisional magistrates in Nirmand of Kullu district and Kotkhai and Jubbal in Shimla district. Sub-tehsil office in Kalbog of Kotkhai and a fire brigade centre in Tikkar were also sanctioned.
Approval granted to appoint 100 JOA in secretariat
The Cabinet granted approval for the appointment of 100 JOA (IT) in the state secretariat. Three additional posts were sanctioned for health centre at Garh-Jamula. Three posts of drivers on a daily wage basis in the information and public relations department were sanctioned. Five posts of chowkidars on a daily wage basis were sanctioned for the food supply and consumer affairs department.
250kl ethanol plant
A decision to issue an approval letter to M/s Premier Alcobave Private Limited to set up a 250-kilo litre ethanol plant in Sansarpur Teres in Kangra district was also taken by the Cabinet.
CT scan machine
The Cabinet also took a decision for purchasing a CT scan-128 slice machine worth Rs 4.28 crore for Dr Rajendra Prasad Ayurvigyan College in Hamirpur.
