Salman, over the years, has become synonymous with Bigg Boss as he hosts the controversial yet much watched reality show. The first season of Bigg Boss OTT saw Divya Agarwal emerge as the winner. A few fan pages shared the clip where Salman can be seen talking about the OTT version of the new season of the much-talked-about reality show Bigg Boss.
Salman enters the frame with firecrackers around him. He can be heard saying, “Cricket k baad kya dekhen yeh hai dilemma, Entertainment hai 24 ghante only on JioCinema. Main lekar aa raha hoon, Bigg Boss OTT. Toh Dekhta Jaye India.”
In 2021, Bigg Boss creators launched Bigg Boss OTT exclusively on Voot, with Karan Johar as the host, but the Bigg Boss OTT 2 will be launched on the recently announced Jio cinema.
A source close to the show earlier shared with indianexpress.com that Salman Khan confirmed his presence on the show a few days ago. Sharing the details, the source added, “While a few contestants are almost locked, conversations with others are at different stages. The makers want to make an official announcement with Salman via a promo soon. The video will drop in a couple of days.”
A few names are also making headlines as contestants of Bigg Boss OTT 2. Jiya Shanker, Munawar Faruqui, Shivam Sharma, Umar Riaz, and Awez Darbar have been speculated to be a part of the OTT version of Bigg Boss. Rajeev Sen, in an interview with ETimes, had also revealed that he was approached for the show. However, sources confirm that his participation is yet to be confirmed.
According to reports, Bigg Boss OTT 2 will launch by the second week of June and will wrap up in July end. Bigg Boss 17 is also expected to kickstart around September.
