Reliance Retail Ventures (RRVL) has entered into a master franchise agreement with US-based 7-Eleven to launch its stores in India.
The first 7-Eleven store will open on October 9 in Mumbai, marking the world’s largest convenience retailer’s entry into India, the company said.
Earlier this week, Future Retail terminated its deal with 7-Eleven, citing the inability to pay franchise fees.
