Himachal Pradesh government has announced fresh restrictions on entry into the state in view of the rising number of Covind-19 active cases.
Registration on Covid e-portal must
Registration on the Covid e-portal has been made mandatory for those wishing to visit Himachal from other states.
A notification was issued regarding this on Wednesday by State Disaster Management Authority.
SDMA notification
As per the notification any Himachal resident who travels to any other state for work but returns within 72 hours then he would not be required to either register on the Covid e-portal or produce any relevant certificate.
Children below 18 years of age accompanying their parents to Himachal need not carry relevant certificates.
Strict rules for those above 18 years
As per the notification, those above 18 years of age have to produce an RT-PCR negative report which is not more than 72 hours old or produce a certificate of both vaccinations if they wish to enter the state.
