A recruitment drive to employ Army ex-servicemen to fill 550 posts of gatemen and gatekeepers in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar and Rajkot divisions of Indian Railways is set to take place at 10 am on July 27 at the Sainik Rest House in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh.
The recruitment is being conducted by private company Checkmate Services Private Limited. Squadron Leader Manoj Rana, Deputy Director of the District Sainik Welfare Office, said the opportunity is open to Class 10 pass ex-servicemen up to the age of 54 years. Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000, along with other benefits.
Eligible ex-servicemen interested in these positions are required to bring the following documents: discharge book, PPO, ex-serviceman identity card, Aadhaar card, PAN card, police verification report issued by the SP office, bank passbook or cancelled cheque, 10th class marksheet and 10 passport size photographs.
In addition to these posts, Checkmate Services will also be recruiting for the positions of Civilian Security Guards in major cities of Gujarat. This recruitment is open to 10th pass youth aged between 19 and 35 years, with a minimum height requirement of 5 feet 6 inches.
Interested candidates should bring four passport size photographs, police verification report issued by the SP office, the original copy of the 10th marksheet, Aadhaar card and its photocopy, bank passbook and its photocopy. An amount of Rs 4,000 will be required as a training and administrative fee.
