Gaggal (Kangra): Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said that the prolonged 450-year wait for the construction of the majestic Ram Temple has ended. Individuals from every corner of the country who wish to witness the grandeur of the Ram Temple will be able to do so after the consecration ceremony, he added.

During his one-day visit to Hamirpur, Thakur participated in the Bharat Sankalp Yatra in the Gram Panchayat Sohri, a development initiative in the Badsar Assembly constituency of Hamirpur district.

He also conducted meetings with sector in-charges in Bhota and Hadsar. During an informal conversation with journalists at the Kangra Airport, Thakur announced that those invited to the event on January 22 should attend for the darshan, and alternate arrangements would be made for others on subsequent days.

Encouraging people to plan their visit to Ayodhya after acquiring information, Thakur suggested they travel to witness Lord Shri Ram’s darshan to avoid inconvenience. The railway junction in Ayodhya has been named after Lord Ram, and a new airport has been prepared to facilitate easy travel for devotees.

Reflecting on the global leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Thakur expressed optimism for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He highlighted that Himachal Pradesh has consistently played a crucial role in propelling Modi to the position of Prime Minister, securing victories on all four seats in 2004 and 2019.

Thakur emphasized that in the 2024 elections, Himachal Pradesh is poised to contribute significantly to the BJP’s success, reiterating Modi’s popularity not just in India but globally. The minister’s remarks reflect the intersection of political foresight and the cultural significance of the long-awaited Ram Temple inauguration.
